Dee Time

Episode 4.23
Dec. 30, 1968

Rod Taylor appeared on this British chat show along with Zsa Zsa Gabor. Other guests on this installment included Richard Harris and Marty Feldman.

The host was Simon Dee, who experienced a meteoric popularity in the late 1960s. BBC's "Dee Time" was immensely popular during its run from 1967-69. Dee's obituary notes that "anyone who was anybody wanted to appear in the programme."

Only a very short clip of Rod's appearance on the show exists, and Rod is barely in the frame. (View it here.) In it, Simon Dee tells Zsa Zsa how he has always wanted to meet her, and she replies likewise, commenting on how handsome he is. Taylor then says, "Welcome to the Zsa Zsa Gabor show!"

The segment possibly was taped earlier in the year, when Rod and Zsa Zsa had been at the London premiere of "Nobody Runs Forever" (aka "The High Commissioner").

IMDb also lists the following episode, which aired the day after the movie premiere:

Episode 4.07
Aug. 24, 1968

Rod appeared on "Dee Time" with Zsa Gabor and Lynn Redgrave.
